ICG Networks Jordan Smith Kansas City High Speed Internet and Phone Scams

Watch out for a company in Kansas City called ICG Networks and the dishonest owner Jordan Smith.  Our company was solicited by Jordan Smith of ICG Networks to switch to their company with promises of fast Internet and great phone service.  They 'forgot' to install the phones or transfer our phone numbers from the old provider and never could get the phones working for two months which lost thousands of dollars in business.  When we finally reached someone to complain about the phones not working we were told it was our fault and that if we did not stop complaining they were going to cancel our services. 

The image below is the email from Jordan Smith with his public office number and public contact information stating he 'added' (forged) an old invoice to show a past due payment for 1/2 of the install service that was waived so that he could make it appear the invoice was past due.  Jordan Smith then goes on to explain "You've put yourself in this corner with your comments". 

The office staff decided to go meet with ICG Networks and drove to their office address only to find out it is an old run down apartment building on Admiral Blvd Downtown Kansas City, MO.  There was nobody there so we called the 'office number' and Jordan answered sounding very upset that we 'found out' they don't have an office or any office staff.  There are only two people, Jordan and a poor guy named Shannon who seems nice enough but cannot make any decisions on his own and really had no idea what he was doing.

Apparently the owner, Jordan, became upset that we complained about the problems and started sending us threats via email that they were going to disconnect services and leave us without Internet or phones.  He called screaming and yelling, sent 8 different invoices with various changes, additions and totals and then disconnected everything the same day leaving our entire company without phones or Internet. This is a company to AVOID at all costs, no legitimate business calls to threaten clients, backdates invoices to try and blackmail money out of people or conducts business in this fashion.  

In the 18 years we have been in business we have never experienced such an unprofessional, dishonest, incapable company as ICG Networks.
